Landscapes with Pinetrees

I will introduce a series of "Landscapes with Pinetrees" that I met somewhere on earth.
The second is “Senrihama Beach” (Hakui City, Ishikawa Prefecture), a pine forest in the Noto Peninsula National Monument. It is a sand control forest along the coast, which has been made with sand control work since 1753. I stayed at a hotel near the coast, but the pine trees that stretched out and leaned diagonally under the strong winds of the Sea of Japan were reminiscent of Tohaku Hasegawa's “Pine Trees”. The next day, I visited Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture, the birthplace of Tohaku, but the surrounding beach was reclaimed and I couldn't meet a giant pine tree.
